OBAMA CAN STILL SAVE HIS PRESIDENCY

DOING THE RIGHT THING INSTEAD OF THE POLITICAL THING WILL TURN IT AROUND:
Obama must right the economy and then everything else will fall into place. In order to do that as THE DETROIT TIMES has said many time before America's manufacturing base must be restored. Obama has made many crucial mistakes in this area. One of the worst mistakes was going back on his campaign promise to tax wealthy corporations that do their manufacturing oversesas and then bring those product back into the United States without paying any tax. American companies who manufacture overseas should pay their tax just like everyone else does. Its unfair to the companies that have stayed in the U.S.
Another bad mistake was the way 50 billion dollars was thrown at Gm without ensuring that they had a management team that could run the company. And that is still the problem. A manager who has automobile experience should be running GM and not a telephone lineman. Phil Mertaugh is the best choice available even though he isnt well liked by the beaucrates who are still in power and have ruined the compapny.
