2010:THE YEAR OF THE MULLAH

IT WAS A VERY GOOD YEAR FOR SOFT HEARTED MULLAHS:
Iran's mullahs threatened with an insurection just earlier this year after they rigged the elections firmly bounced back and decesively took control of the situation after nearly half the country started to riot.
They correctlly judged that a weak timid American president would ignore pleas and cries for help from opposition protestors which amounted to almost half the country. When the opposition demanded new election the mullahs merely told them if you want the power then you come and take it. Since the mullahs had the guns and protestors had the sling shots it was easy to see who would win. And win the Mullahs certainly did not only in Iran but also in Iraq.
Iran's mullahs with little effort have also now effectively taken control of Iraq. They defeated the mighty American Armed Forces with a copper projectile that destroyed tanks and armored carriers. And now they control the politicans running Iraq.
So the mullahs for 2010 have now not only regained firm control over their own country but also run Iraq after the American potlickes spent almost $5trillion on a war they have lost to a rag tag army.
2010 is mostly defiantly the year of the mullah.

THERE IS FRESH CRACKS IN THE DAM

BERNANKES METHOD OF FIXING THE ECONOMY IS TO KEEP PLUGGING THE CRACKS:
The problem with that method is if the dam burst there wont be anything left to rebuild it. While the Fed keeps recementing the cracks new ones keep reappearing. There are the problems with Ireland and Portgale which could affect the world economy but there is also the extended housing crisis which has a life of its own.
The fact that many mortgages werent properly recorded during the refinancing boom could mean a whole new crisis that could cost the banks billions more. And since the government is the largest stockholder in many of those banks that means billions more would come out ot the treasury.
So if Ben uses up all the cement to keep plugging up all the new cracks there wont be anything left to rebuild when the dam finally does burst.

THE WORLD IN REVIEW

THE ECONOMY: VERY WEAK!!
There isnt much improvement at all in anything. Yes the automobile industry has improved but only marginallly. General Motors profits are suspect. They are making money yet the pile of cash that the government gave them keeps going down. And if their public offering was so well subcribed why were foreign investors like China allowed to buy into the offering.
While Gm is certainly making better designed cars unfortunaly they arent yet making cars that run better. And consequently Gm is still a troubled company.
THE FEDERAL RESERVE:
The new Republicans are going to try and curtail its power. Bernackes big mistake was in bailing out the banks and neglecting the manufacturing base. The result is a stagnent economy that shows very little sign of recovery.

THE ISSUE MEG WHITMAN WAS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF AND IT MAY HAVE COST HER THE ELECTION

THE IMMIGRATION ISSUE WAS MEGS UNDOING:
Her strong stand against the rights of illegal aliens proably cost her the Hispanic vote. When she ran against Steve Poizner his foolish remarks about Hispanic school childrens ability to learn made her like Snow White and a symbol of moderation and wisdom.
When she become the Republican candidate she was forced to take a stronger stand on immigration in order to hold on to the core base of the Republican party and that cost her votes among mainsteam voters.
Most people understand that illegal aliens are here to stay and that it would be unfair to start rounding up people who have been in the U.S. for years and start sending them back to a country that many left a long time ago.
Brown the old pro staked out the high ground early on and received the Hispanic vote in return and thus winning the election.

WHY JERRY OVER MEG

BROWN THE SEASONED OLD PRO VS MEG THE FIRST TIMER:
Experience was proably the biggest reason Brown beat the well finacnced Whitman. Meg Whitman had never run for office before and may have relied to heavly on handlers instead of the gut intuition that comes from having done it before.
The new ideas that the inovative Whitman could have provided in shaping California's future will be sorely missed. Brown at 73 tied to the old ways of doing things will struggle just like he did in Oakland to solve the states many problems.
Steve Lopez said Whitman promised to lay-off 40000 state workers. And scoffed at Whitman as a spoiled rich gurl.
What does Lopez a talented colmunist for the Los Angeles Times think of all the city employees that LA Mayor Little Antonio has fired with many more lay-offs to come? Los Angeles proably will soon be without a public Library system. Lopez a supporter of Geritol Jerry Brown and Little Antonio dosent dosent comment on stuff like that.
Meg Whitman proably will run again for office and be much wiser for the experience and the voters of California may learn its best to take chances instead of relying on the same stale piece of bread or politican.

THE DEMOCRATES LOST BIG AND THEY DESERVED IT

ANY PRESIDENT WHO REAPPOINTS GEORGE BUSH'S SECRETARY OF DEFENSE DESERVES A WHIPPING:
It was a sign of things to come when Obama a so called liberal Democrate reappointed a retread like Darrel Gates as Secretary of Defense. When Obama ran for office he campaigned on the expectation that he would end U.S. involvement in Iraq and wind down American pressence in that area of the world.
HE LIED BIG TIME. The wars in Afganistan and Iraq continue unabatted with the mighty American military machine getting clobbered by a rag tag army. $4 trillion dollars in war costs down the drain so far with more to come.
Darrel Gates and David Petraius regardless of what the press says about them are losers and yet Obama has entrusted so much power to them.
Yes the American people are just low life potlickers but they are tired of being lied to which is why they voted the Republican way.
Unfortunatly there arent many other ways to protest what is happening to the United States.
SANTA MONICA CALIFORNIA VOTES THE REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS TICKET IN:
Its very shocking and surprizing that voters in Santa Monica would vote so strongly for candidates backed by the big real estate developers like Heinz & Co. But that is what they did and more big development projects can be expected. That is what the people clearly want.
