DID STEVE RATTNER REALLY SAVE GM

GM PROPED UP WITH GOVERNMENT MONEY STILL CANT MAKE IT ON ITS OWN: And that is very sad for the U.S. economy which needs a healthy Gm to recover.
Much of Gm's lack of success can be blamed on Rattners rescue plan. Rattner never really attacked Gm's real problem that caused it to fail in the first place. Rattner moved a lot of pieces around but in the end he neglected the most important brick in building a successful recovery plan for Gm.
The biggest reason Gm failed is because of bad management. Rick Wagoner grew up in the automobile industry but yet he never understood it. He was basically a bureacrate who made good. Rattner inspite of what he says now wanted to leave Wagoner in there. It was the President who fired Wagoner and not Rattner.
Rattner and the government did a poor job of fixing Gm because they never found a suitable excutive to run Gm. After the President fired Wagoner Rattner let him pick his own replacement.
Does that make any sense letting the failed Chairmen of Gm pick his own successor? Rattner justified this by saying there just wasnt enough time to do a proper search so he went by Wagoners recomendation. The government spends over $50 billion to save Gm but Rattner dosent have enough time to do the job right. Does that sound logical? Its like doing brain surgury and not sewing the person up because there wasnt enough time.
The result Gm still dosent have capable leadership and continues to survive on the governments dollar. And there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel. Without the proper excutive running Gm it will fail for sure.

THE GERITOL KID'S COMEBACK PLAN FOR CALIFORNIA

YES GERITOL GERRY HAS AN ECONOMIC PLAN FOR CALIFORNIA EVEN THOUGH HE HASNT REVEALED IT TO THE PUBLIC:
And that plan is very similiar to the playbook used by Los Angeles mayor Little Antonio in ruining Los Angeles. You see the same powerbrokers,big construction companies(WHO IS RON TUTOR) prison builders that put Little Antonio in office are backing the Geritol kid to the hilt.
Real estate developers like Donald Sterling who take full page ads out in the Los Angeles Times promoting whatever ridiciluous idea they can think of to fill up space are now very heavily backing Geritol Gerry Brown.
The Los Angeles Times was recently critical of Meg Whitman's economic ideas quoting so called experts while saying very little about Geritol's ideas or plans for rebuilding the California economy. They just said Jerry hasnt revealed any plans yet.
If you look at what Little Antonio has done for Los Angeles like giving the real estate developers carte blanc to the cities employee pension plan which bankrupted the city is a good indicater of how the Geritol Kid (Jerry Brown) will handle things if he becomes governor.
After all he and Little Antonio drink out of the same well. The well of the real estate developers and big construction companies and they will ruin the state just like they did in Los Angeles if Geritol Jerry becomes Governor.

WHAT AMERICANS REALLY WANT FROM THEIR GOVERNMENT

THEY WANT A GOVERNMENT THAT REALLY WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY:
That means ending wars that are so useless. Over 4 trillion dollars has been wasted in the Iraq and Afganistan wars. How can the budget deficits be addressed with than kind of money being poured something that is so wasteful. The American people want the wars ended.
The other critical area that the American want to see results in is the economy. Its obvious America has lost its manufacturing base to its economic competators such as China. The question is how to get it back.
When the magical,mistical Dr.Obama campaigned he said this was going to be a top prioity in his administration. And yet he had done very little to address this problem. On an important campaign promise of ending government subsidies to companies who manufacture overseas Dr.Obama has completely reversed himself. He now supports these subsidies for American companies who manufacture overseas. While the government shouldnt interfere with companies who decide its more cost effective to manufacture overseas it also shouldnt subsidize them as is now the case.
Government subsidies must be completely stopped to American companies who manufacture overseas. Dr.Obama said he would end these government handouts to wealthy corporations and so far he has done nothing.

THE ISSUE THAT REALLY DOMINATES THE GOVERNORS RACE IN CALIFORNIA

THE CANDIDATE WHO BEST ADDRESS CALIFORNIAS ECONOMIC FUTURE WILL BE THE NEXT GOVERNOR:
How should Californias ecnomony be reshaped and rebuilt? So far Brown has taken the high ground by embracing stict enforcement of global warming laws while Whitman has called for a relaxing of these laws. It must be said Brown like most Democrates has a poor record of keeping campaign promises.
On the really important issue of how to create and keep businesses in the state neither candidate has come up with a blue print of how to do this.
Yes Whitman putting the pressure on Brown has forced him into making campaign blunders that make him look foolish but voters dont really care about that stuff.
If Whitman can position herself as the candidate with the plan to bring back the roar in Californias economy then she will easily win.
Little potlicker tit for tat stuff with Brown is really meaningless even if it dose make him look foolish.
A blue print for Californias economic future is what really counts in this election.
THE TREND IS UP IN THE STOCKMARKET WHICH MEANS THERE WILL BE SOME KIND OF RECOVERY SOON.
The long term trend for this country is clearly down unless the U.S. can end the wara its losing and bring back its manufacturing base.
NOT ONE THING OBAMA HAS DONE HAS WORKED
Iran will soon be a nuclear power,the Afgan and Iraq wars rage on and the American economy is still in shreads as Americas economic competators gain important ground.

HAMTRAMCK MICHIGAN IS INFLUENCING THE LOS ANGELES LOOK:
The Los Angeles Art Museum renovation has a definate Hamtramck look to it thanks to Eli(The Chiseler)Broad who spent his formative years there.
Eli's parents owned a small retail store in Hamtramck and lived near there. The city once one of largest Polish enclaves in North America loved the color red. Bright red was very popular in Hamtramck and could be seen through out the city. Hence the name Pollack Red.
Evil Eli donated some of the money used in the Los Angeles Museum renovation and was credited with it being painted bright red. Who paints an art Museum bright red? Only only someone like Eli who grew up in Hamtrack. And now u know the rest of the story.
THE STOCK MARKET AND THE ECONOMY:
On Twitter I predicted the ralley we are now seeing. But the long term prospects for the economy and stock market are not good. However it wont be a good market for the bears as we are seeing right now. Its going to be a choppy market for a long time that trends down. Any who takes a sell and hold stragedy is going to get whippsawed out of the market.
While the bears are right most of them are stuck in the crash scenerio line of thinking to sink the market which proably wont happen. Its going to a gradual fall that is very subtle. And when the end finally comes it wont be a surprize or shock to anyone. Was anyone surprized when Gm collapsed? Not really because Gms decline happened over such a long time. And that is what the decline in the American economy is going to look like.
